Our Story

My grassroots initiative aims to transform housing options in my hometown. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, my family and I transitioned to RV living due to exorbitant rents. This experience highlighted the lack of full hook-up options in my community. Thus, I envisioned creating a welcoming space for RV enthusiasts, stimulating tourism, and bolstering the local economy. This initiative seeks to offer essential amenities and facilities while contributing positively to the growth of the town.

Our Vision

The Petroglyphs RV Resort project aims to pioneer innovative housing solutions in Bishop, CA, to advance health equity. By offering flexible housing options tailored to the community's needs, such as short-term accommodations for travel nurses, construction workers, and transitional housing for individuals affected by domestic violence, we seek to address housing disparities and promote improved health outcomes. Our plan includes adding 68 flexible housing units, providing transitional housing for the tribal and small communities until they secure permanent housing. Additionally, we would like to collaborate with organizations like Wild Iris and RAVE (Bishop Paiute Tribe DV Program) to ensure comprehensive support for vulnerable populations. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, we will develop inclusive and accessible housing solutions responsive to residents' diverse needs, fostering a more equitable and resilient community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. By prioritizing health equity in our approach to housing development, we aspire to create a supportive environment that empowers individuals to lead healthier, more secure lives and contributes to the overall well-being of the community.
